We're going on a trip in April and while we've already booked flights, we could use some help from a local travel agency in arranging hotels, rental car, tours, etc. Anyone have a recommendation?
Also, if anyone has thoughts on kid-friendly activities in Bonn, Alsace, or Paris feel free to share! |

In Paris I would definitely check out the Luxembourg Gardens-- there's tons of fun stuff for kids to do. Also the Eiffel tower now has timed tickets (if you're willing to take your chances on weather in exchange for not having to wait in line). We also liked the bateaubus for getting around--it's not particularly fast but it's nice to see the city from the water.
There are a ton of apts for rent in Paris (so many that the city says that they are going to try and crack down on people who rent them out to tourists). The NYT just ran an article on a website that is supposedly high end itinerary/lodging/activity suggestions for family travel from some woman-- basically she tells you about her great vacations and gives you contact info if you want to try and do the same. Not sure it's worthwhile but the website is littleswans.com. |
