Optometrist Recommendation for Teen Soccer Player

13-yr-old DD is having trouble seeing far down the soccer field, and trouble seeing the white board at school. Looking for an optometrist near McLean/N. Arlington for a vision test. I mention the soccer, as I imagine she could end up needing sports goggles in addition to regular glasses for school, if she truly is near sighted.

Robin Rinearson in Bailey's Crossroads is great. It can be a long wait for an appointment but worth it. We live in Bethesda and go to her.

I would reconsider having your child wear goggles. Consider letting her wear contacts for practice and games. A lot less humiliating.

Dr. Renner, who is also at this practice, is great, too. We've never had to wait too long for an appt. with him.
