Black leather boots- is below knee ok?

I got this pair a year ago that fit well- didn't hur my feet- not too funky (aka conservative)- but it falls below the knee- I mean like 3/4 up from foot to knee- is this out of fashion? what length skirt to wear? ia m petite - anyway, i tried wearing it this weekend with opaque hose and I wasn't sure ( i just have no clue)- please help..

I happen to think the over the knee boots are ridiculous on anyone old enough to have children. So below the knee is the only kind of boot I would wear.

The top of the boot should not hit at the widest part of your calf if you are going to wear them with a skirt or with pants tucked in. The closer to the knee, the better. And skirts should generally hit within a few inches of the knee.

On someone petite, you'll want the skirt, leggings/tights and boots to all be a similar color to lengthen the line.
