If you have a large chest where do you buy your tops?

I have so much trouble with this...I either end up with tops that are too short because of my chest or I look like a porn star. I am 34 and consider myself moderately trendy/stylish...would love some new ideas.

Thanks!

I would love an answer to this question!

I have had some luck with Ann Taylor Loft for daytime basics that don't show too much cleavage and that fit moderately OK.

32DDD here. I generally wear knits b/c they are a little more forgiving than woven tops (and no iron required, wahoo!). I am a bit short-waisted, too, so what fits me might not fit you.

My tops tend to be from Ann Taylor and Boden. In the past I've found stuff at Banana and J.Crew, but nothing recently (although that is partly b/c their colors have been too washed out lately). If you can find the size that fits you, Chicos sometime has tops that fit really well and are not frumpy, but you have to really look (I have some great tanks from there that I can wear with suit jackets, etc). And for basic white oxfords and t's, Lands End works pretty well.

Two items that will help: camisoles under tops for a little extra coverage, and Hollywood Fashion Tape (or regular double-sided tape) to keep things from gaping or dipping too low.

Another 32DDD here. Good advice above. I also have a couple of good basics that I have tailored, especially a good white cotton button down. If you find a good classic, get it tailored with some darting, and it will look great. Even better if you can get the style with in a fabric with a little drapier or stretchy fabric.

I wear a lot of knits, too.

I've had some good luck at Ann Taylor and BR in the past, but also a lot of clothes that fit everyplace but there.

It seems like Calvin Klein clothes usually have enough room for me these days.
