Private piano lessons--30 mins, 45 mins, or 60 mins?

Anonymous
We are thinking of moving our 6-yr-old who has been in a group piano class to private instruction.
What is the most appropriate length of instruction for this age?
30 mins seems short, but maybe enough for a 6-yr-old?
45 mins seems long enough, do you think?
Or 60 mins would be more beneficial in terms of learning???

Would appreciate any advice. TIA!

Our child's piano teacher does 30-minute lessons for kids younger than around 9 or 10, at which point it becomes a 45-minute lesson. HTH.

Why not see what the teacher suggests? I think 45 minutes would be good. My 5 year old gets a 30 minute lesson at school. 60 minutes is too long at this age.

OP here. Thanks for your comments. Sounds like 30 mins or 45 mins would be good.
I honestly can't see what the difference might be other than the $$$... Might start with 30 mins and see how it goes.
Thanks!

Can you share your piano teacher's contact? Would you recommend him/her?
