Birthday party ideas for 7 y.o. girl?

They usually come so easily, but am stumped this year! Delighted if folks have suggestions for both out of and at home parties.

My neice went to a party based on one of those cooking shows around that age. You could do a variation on that (cupcake decorating, cookie decorating); maybe a learn to cook party? Have someone come in and show them a basic meal they could learn to prepare for themselves and/or family?

Craft party? Tea party-- get tons of dress up accessories, costume jewelry, hats, etc. and make tea sandwiches (which for me at that age, was cutting of the crusts and using cookie cutters to shape them)

Pottery painting? We did this with my Girl Scout troop (they are all around 7) and the girls loved it.

I was thinking a craft type party for my 7 year old DD (she just turned 6 and we had a gymnastics party for the second year in a row). However, we also had several kids older than 6, and they all had a blast, so maybe we'll do another active party. Maybe a dance or ballet party, but of course I have another whole year to wait and see what she's into.

Niece had a spa party with yogurt face masks, pedicures by mom and teen helper and manicures. So cute. Favors were matching pajama pants for all.
