Is there a brand that works best? And, how to wear? I'm a size 2 or 4 and, sadly, without a butt (which I lost in my first pregnancy). I have one pair of skinny jeans, but the boyish cut seems to just fall off my unshapely body (and I've seen this on others). I usually go with my old boot cuts because they have pockets on the rear, which make my butt look better. Also, how do you wear skinny jeans inside knee-high boots? Mine get bunched around the knees and look terrible....please help!!!

You are in luck. The skinnier the pants, the longer the shirts that go with it. You can hide your boy butt in a girly tunic or a short dress. Pair it with skinny pants and sparkly ballet flats or high heels, and call it a day! Being an awesome mom does not leave you much time.

Talk me through what is sad about being a size 2-4 with no butt? I'd change sizes with you any day, skinny jeans or no skinny jeans. You lucky thing!
I'm afraid that since I'm neither skinny, nor able to wear skinny jeans, I have nothing useful to add to your thread. |
I have somewhat of a butt, so not sure if my post is relevant, but I bought 4 pairs of Old Navy jeans for $16 each during their recent sale, figuring what the hell- I can just get rid of if they no longer cut it. The diva fit seems to work for me - I did buy one sweetheart fit and those are mom jeans for sure...I think they have an even skinnier cut that might be worth checking out.
Old Navy has a new cut - I think it is called "Rock Star" or something like that. They are super-skinny and look great on someone much skinnier than myself!
OP....thanks will try Old Navy and....having something long to cover my rear. Good idea!
It sounds like you aren't getting cuts that are tight enough. Look for something with a little stretch to it. If it has some stretch and they are the right size (should be form fitting, hence "skinny") then there shouldn't be any bunching at all when you wear with boots.
One more thing--When I wear skinny jeans with boots, I fold up the bottom one time so that there is a cuff before I put my boots on. I make the cuff however big enough so that the bottom is now ankle length.
