Wow haven’t used FB in a while. My feed is all ads and even worse promoted content on my “interests” (for some reason I see tons of making of marvel clips — I have never watched that stuff).
I can navigate to friends feed which is better, but no way to bookmark that — I always come back to the travesty. Is it like this or everyone or do I just have low post friends? |

I'm not the OP but it's trash and I have an ad blocker and it doesn't work on your FB wall/stream what ever you want to call it they're embedded onto your wall/page so an ad blocker won't work. |

Yep it's really destroyed it. My feed used to be posts from friends. Now it's 90%+ random ads. I rarely log on anymore.
I don't even get notifications of birthdays or see big posts like someone's new baby. Just ads. |

| I only use it for groups now. They post useful group info, but I also see a huge amount of ads. |

| I've had this problem for quite a long time. I started muted or x-ing out ads, but it only last for awhile. However, b/c it's all ads and nonsense from whoever pays FB to promote their dumb videos, I post less and so do people i know. So, there is less content that even COULD be shown on my feed. |

| I’ve had good luck by hiding a ton of ads. It takes a little bit of time, but if you hide all the ads for stuff you have no interest in for a few days, you’ll start getting friend content again. It works better if you also interact with all the friend content. I now get more friend content than ads, and most of the ads are for stuff I’m vaguely interested in. |
