Can you Crushing Zoloft/Sertraline?

Due to varies reasons, DD cannot take the liquid form of Sertraline. We opted for tablet form, but she has problem swallowing it despite however tiny it is. The med description says you can't crush/chew it, but our psychiatrist says DD could crush/chew the tablet to make it easier on swallowing.
Has anyone's psychiatrist/pharmacist mentioned that Zoloft/Sertraline can be chewed/crushed? |
