| What’s the effort/reward in quantitative terms? |
| NO! DONATE. |
| Not worth for a grown working person. Do you have a teenager who wants to deal with it and earn some money? |
+1. I used to send to ThredUp because they did all the work but now their fees are so ridiculous I would rather just donate. I sent them a huge bag, they sold 20 items within the short time frame they allow me to make any money, but still I made $0 because they charge ridiculous fees that eat into your already tiny profits. Poshmark of course gets you more money but it’s a decent amount of work. |
| I would move this to the fashion and beauty board. You will get better responses there. |
| I have made $1500 selling 50 items on Poshmark. Not much effort at all. |
“Made” in what sense |
6500 here after a closet clean out post covid. |
| Never bought a thing on Poshmark. How to people guess their sizing? I swear I return so many items that I buy online from well known stores with good return policies. Am I that particular ?? I read this thread because I have a Mother of the Groom dress than I want to unload because I am never wearing it again. Consignment or Poshmark? Advice please. |
| There are some people who make decent side money browsing Goodwill and thrift stores and reselling on ebay or Poshmark. I happened to stop at a Goodwill to drop off some donations and spent a few minutes walking through the clothing racks out of curiosity and was surprised at the major labels I saw going for a few dollars. |
| I used Facebook resale pages for kids stuff. Boden, Hanna etc. maybe made $10-$20 off one item. It’s not much effort though and I’d have the money in my PayPal so when I wanted to buy something off there I felt like it was free. |
