DH thinks $40 is too expensive for a boy’s haircut and would like to do it himself. Any thoughts? |
How much does your husband spend on his haircuts? |
He’s right. But I wouldn’t let him do it himself. Find a cheaper place. |
My teen son goes to the Vietnamese barber in downtown Bethesda. $25 or thereabouts. They're friendly and very good.
During the pandemic my husband bought a razor and insisted I cut their hair, but I'm awful at it. AWFUL. Even after watching Youtube videos. $25 every few months is a decent price to pay to not butcher my son's hair. DH still insists I do his, and apparently doesn't mind looking like a clown. Oh well. |
Same amount as for a man's haircut. |
Hi PP, can you share name/address of the barber shop please? |
I take my son to a barber for $25 every 2 weeks. |
$35 at the mall with a tip or $20 at the local
Barber shop. |
What are these barber shops? Because I pay $40-45 and I don’t want to |
Every two weeks? That’s crazy. |
$50 at Bearded Goat, he has incredibly thick hair and we’ve had mixed results taking him to less expensive places. He sees the same barber as his dad |
Same as an adult haircut. It takes as much time. |
He gets a fade and a lineup and doesn't want his hair looking wild or out of place, hanging over his ears. He's always preferred a clean/fresh look. |
$15 |
Around here $25 including tip. That said if he's just using clippers it can be done at home, I've done my own and had DW touch up my neck. I wouldn't do a scissor cut on my own. |
