Going on a long car ride for spring break. We all like audiobooks but it’s been awhile since we have been in the car all at once for that much time. Kids are 16 and 14. Would love suggestions.
Thanks! |

We liked The Guilty on audible. It was a good road book.
Zero G I would say is geared towards early teens, but we found the book to be engaging and we all enjoyed it ages 12 to 42. It was the type of book series (there are three or four in the series). it had very good voice actors which kept everybody hooked. |
| The Maze Runner is interesting and could give the family lots to talk about. |

Our whole family enjoyed Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. We also liked The Martian but all agreed that Project Hail Mary is better.

| Harry Potter series is fantastic on audio. |
| Thanks! These are great ideas to look into. |
| Born a crime. |
| Endless Night by Agatha Christie |

Does it have to be fiction?
My kids liked Alexandra Petri and Lindy West's "Shit, Actually" assuming you're OK with your kids listening to swearing For fiction, they liked Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, PG Wodehouse, and Saki |

We've done a lot of road trips with Ronald Dahl, too! And agree with pp that audio Harry Potter also is great, even if everyone already read it and seen the movies. Other hits have been compilations of myths from around the world which made it fun to discuss similarities and differences and things like how many of the Greek good character types references appear across pop culture. |
