| My 10 year old is aksing for a movie none of us has seen and is excellent. We all love sports movies, kids who beat the odds movies (think better nate than ever, and the queen of katwe), and comedies. PG-13 is fine and some R is OK too |

There are so many good ones without needing them to rush to PG13 or R! Plenty of time for that.

| What about The Mitchells vs the Machines? It was funny for both the kid and adults. Also Jennifer Garner has a couple of cheesy family movies on Netflix, they are very formulaic but somewhat entertaining and my kid laughed a lot during both of them, which is always a plus. |
