Tasting menu recommendations

Would love to enjoy a great multi-course tasting menu for my upcoming birthday. Recommendations on your favorite in the DC area? Would like to keep it somewhere around $200 per person (or less).

I’ve done imperfecto, el cielo, albi, seven reasons, roses luxury, little pearl and a few others.

Oh and meant to add to my original post — we love all cuisines although DH has a shellfish allergy it would be nice to accommodate. And a great cocktail menu would be a huge plus.

2941 has a Chef's Tasting menu for $125 per person, and an $75 3-course Prix Fixe Tues-Thurs.

If you want to spend way more than that, try Jont. It's amazing but pricey. But truly amazing.

Jont is definitely on my list for a future occasion when we feel more comfortable spending more than $500ish for the meal!

I think causa is around that price point. But I actually thought the food was better at Bar Amazonia!
