My brother and I were trying to remember it. We lived in Southern CA (Los Angeles stations, if that matters) in the 90s and this show was on one of the Spanish language channels.
It had adults dressed overly exaggerated as children, and they were sitting in a classroom. My brother and I remember one of the "boys" wearing a beanie with a propeller on top. They talked in shrill, obnoxious voices. I've been googling and have actually found other message boards with people asking about what sounds like the same show--and are given the suggestions of "Cero en Conducta" or "El Charro del Ocho." looked those up, and no, it's neither of those. Anyone have a clue? |
| ^sorry, that should be "El CHAVO del Ocho" |

| I love El Chavo. Wish Netflix would bring it back. |

Mexican TV has a long history of showing Brasilian novelas dubbed in spanish, so it wouldn't surprise me if this were true of other shows too. There are three (related, with intermingling characters) Brasilian shows this could be: Chaves, Escolinha do Professor Raimundo, or Escolinha do Professor Something (can't think of the name).
The character with the beanie (but no propeller) was Quico. |
| Chavo del ocho was not really a 90s show but it ran in syndication for years. And it was not a dubbed Brazilian show. It was a Mexican show. |

There’s a kids board book:

OP here.
I just watched a quick video of El Chavo del Ocho...the show I remember is similar, but the show I remember seemed more modern (like it was probably filmed in the late 80s or early 90s.) Also, the show I remember, the voices were much more obnoxious and exaggerated. |
| Try another video, OP. It's El Chavo. |
