| It sounds like a nightmare to change sheets but what do you think? Broaden my perspective 🤣 |
|
Why? Do you have 4 kids in a room?
|
2 kids. It is two queen beds. I had always heard of twin over full or twin over twin. There is now queen over queen. |
|
Why would they need a queen size versus twin or XL twin?
Just seems unnecessary given they’re probably not going to be having overnight guests over given they share a room. |
| Waste of floor space. If you have a lot, just get L shaped twin beds instead. |
| Why?? |
| My kids are tall so I would get that if needed. |
|
I would not do it for their regular sleeping arrangement at home no. Kids can sleep in twins.
I have friends though that bought a small beach house with friends, one family has 2 elem age kids. They put Queen over Queen in their room so they can all have a bed/mattress when both families are there at the same time. |
| Make them change their own sheets. |
| This would scare me. Don’t Queen beds need a middle support? |
I've never seen a queen bed with middle support. |
|
I do think it would be a pain-- just huge and yes, hard to change sheets.
What is the age gap? How tall are they? I wonder if you could get away with a twin over full, put the older kid in the full, then the younger kid will get it when older sibling goes to college? I totally get the desire for more space than a twin offers. We've had our kid in a full since kindergarten and I think it's much more comfortable as she's gotten older, plus offers more space for kids to sit and hang out when she has friends over. |
NP -- DH and I sleep on a queen with a middle support. |
|
Agree I would do twin over full or full over twin.
This is assuming these are teens over six feet tall. |
| Why would you need this? |
