SJC admission portal-how to check acceptance status?

SJC's admission portal does not seem to have a section for admission decisions. Anyone know if a section will appear next Friday?

Did they indicate you would be able to view on the portal? Unless this is a new feature, they will email you.

Why a deep breath? It was a simple question. SJC site is not very user friendly.

I agree as an SJC parent. I see they were trying to get modern with it but they went overboard this time. doh!

You should have received an email today stating when the portal would be updated with decisions. (And also when decisions are mailed)

And, to be clear, they mail decisions on Thursday and you can check the portal after 3:30pm on Friday.

Is this true for transfer applicants as well? FWIW, we did not receive any email update.

The portal now contains a note to click on the “view checklist” tab to see the admission decision.

And no, the decision hasn’t been uploaded.

There is also a decline to enroll form that I don’t recall being there before so maybe that’s a good sign? The form is populated with acceptance to 9th grade.

What are others seeing?

I just checked and can see that decline to enroll form as well. You are right it was not there before. I didn’t click to open it though - (too scared to screw something up).

I just checked and can see that decline to enroll form as well. You are right it was not there before. I didn’t click to open it though - (too scared to screw something up).

Same, I have that as well. I'm going to pretend that doesn't mean anything though. Don't want to get too excited.

I don't see that on mine. So maybe that is a good sign for you..

I see that for my child too, but like others don’t want to get our hopes up and surely won’t tell my daughter or husband about it.
