We’re planning to go to Cancun with three little ones in April (will be 5 years, 3 and one), I’m also pregnant (will be 4 months pregnant). An older couple friends (60+ years old) will travel with us. Is there any recommended all inclusive resorts for us? Don’t plan to drive or leave the resort. Which types of rooms, suites shall we do? Thinking if we should do a suite or one suite (for our family) plus one room for friends. |
Grand Moon Palace, or Moon Palace The Grand (people refer to it both ways) |
Finest Playa Mujeres and get a family suite |
Op here, how about Ziva or Grand Fiesta Americana? We don’t plan to let kids go to any kids club.
Where did you all get the tickets? Official sites? Costco? |
We liked sun palace— maybe depends if you want a nice pool more or a nice beach? Think you can also shuttle between the properties. |
If remember correctly, the reciprocity between the properties wasn't mutual. Meaning Grand Moon could visit and use the others but not the other way around. But that may have changed. |
We had a great time at Ziva a couple of weeks ago. I traveled with my husband and 11 month old. We enjoyed the pools, beaches, and restaurants. There were a ton of kids there and it was very kid friendly. Recommend contacting the concierge beforehand about renting a stroller - our BabyQuip rental fell through last minute and the concierge helped us out. We booked on the website. |
We really liked Cancun Club Med when our kids were little. They have a great kids club for even little kids that our kids looked forward to attending each day. The rooms in the Aquamarine building are set up for families. As an adult, I enjoyed daily tennis clinics, onsite snorkeling, and taking out the hobie cats. |
