AP Course through FCPS Online campus

Anonymous
Has anyone taken an AP course through FCPS Online campus? How does it work? is it all asynchronous or do they meet at certain regular times in a week? How difficult or easy are they compared to in-person AP classes?

I just looked into this in an attempt to get my kid out of a couple of classes in order to escape the awful equity grading policy/dumbed down courses at our school. You can take 2 courses a year through FCPS online. They are asynchronous but you do have to meet once a week for 60-90 minutes and that is mandatory. The time will be in the afternoon or evening and are not determined until the fall but the day of the week for the courses is already set. Those days are listed here: https://www.fcps.edu/academics/academic-overview/online-campus
