There’s no way to find that out and it would be a useless number.

Clearly not, giving on the griping about grade deflation.

My kid's Big3 kids have an average GPA of about a 3.5 per the college counseling office at the school.

My kid is in what is reputed to be the most rigorous private school in Baltimore. She is taking highest rigor available to her. They just got report cards yesterday - unweighted she has a 98.5. I believe she must be close to top of class.

If not the top-congrats!

Maret is the only DC private to publish this info on their school profile. I would guess other top DC/VA/MD privates around the same.

Congrats to your DD, PP. My kid is likely at the same school. Getting fine grades as a freshman, but not top. Struggling a bit coming from a weaker school that had massive grade inflation. Any tips welcome.

That’s a great GPA for your daughter but it is not responsive to the Q about average GPA.

OP, you are probably aware that you will never know this. So what is the point of your post?

I think this sounds right for my DC’s big3. Average is around 3.4 fall of 12th.
