Compare Charleston to Bar Harbor

I think they do have similarities in the architecture and quaint, if touristy, vibe. Charleston has much better restaurants.

Bar Harbor has better summer weather, amazing hiking and boating opportunities, and lobster. Noone wants to be outside in Charleston in the summer. No contest

They are nothing alike, at all, in any capacity besides being near water. If he likes bar harbor I would at a minimum think the heat and humidity in Charleston would be an issue.

I’ve only been to Charleston once and it was in the summer. To say it was a little hot and humid would be an understatement. Give me Bar Harbor, every time. I also think Bar Harbor and the Maine coast is just more enjoyable IMHO.
