| Good luck to everyone who's child applied! |
| +1 !! |
| DD deferred. Hoping for good news for us later and good news sooner for the rest of you! |
| Sorry to hear that. I've heard about a couple others getting deferred too - perhaps they got more RD applications than expected. |
Thanks... it's a bummer! I'm an alum. Fingers crossed for March. |
Good luck! Maybe a letter to your regional admissions rep reaffirming commitment and sending mid semester grades |
Yep she will do all of the above. The first semester grades were great, improvement on overall GPA so hopefully will help. 3.9 W overall, 4.4 senior year. |
Just wanted to say to you that she should be proud of the increase in her GPA. It’s hard to stay focused senior year. Whatever happens with her admits, she’ll carry the qualities she’s cultivating in herself through college and it will help her be much more successful in the long run. |
| Another alum here. Fingers crossed for your daughter. PP is right-- she should be proud of herself for staying motivated and working hard! I hope she gets good news in the spring. |
| My kid is waiting for RD WM with crossed fingers. |
Good luck! When will RD come out? |
| One the ED1, ED2, and RD rounds are completed, are there any advantages to having been selected in the earlier rounds? Do ED1 kids get early shots at classes or dorm selections? |
Did she submit SAT? If that was high seems nuts to me not accepted with that GPA if alum (with a side note that say post that legacy status about to mean nothing after this year so good luck now if can help). |
| My daughter was admitted. I was impressed with the quick turn around time. She applied on January 5th and got her acceptance yesterday. |
| When does RD find out? Any chance earlier than March? |
