Suddenly no access to Facebook Marketplace

Has anyone else encountered the problem of suddenly unable to access Facebook Marketplace?

I’ve used Marketplace in the past, most recently buying an item a month ago. I went in today to create a listing to see and receive the message “Marketplace isn’t available to you.”

Of course contacting FB is impossible and googling hasn’t really helped me find a solution.

Was wondering if anyone else encountered and was able to solve?
