Indoor birthday party venues

What are your favorite indoor birthday party venues for kindergarteners near-ish to the Fairfax City area? We love doing playground birthday parties, but our daughter's birthday is in early spring and the weather has been iffy (too cold and/or rainy), so we're looking for different options.

Michaels has birthday parties. There's also Tea with Mrs. B.

We did a Michael's birthday also and it was super easy, affordable, and the kids liked it.

How does a Michaels birthday party work? My daughter LOVES crafting, so this might be a great idea. But, like, do we pick a craft that all the kids do? Is there instruction? They allow snacks and cake? It's just IN Michaels somewhere?

Friend, just call them and ask.

I can call them and ask, but it seemed like some people here had done them and I'd like to know what the user experience was. The info on their website was very limited.

Sort of the equivalent of a McDonald’s birthday party. But with more germs.

We went to a kid birthday party there that was overall done well BUT the space is sort of small and not very open. It felt extremely crowded in the main play area and in the hallway between the play structure and the side party rooms. I suppose they all feel kind of crowded like that on busy weekends but just something to keep in mind.

It seems more suited to preschoolers and younger.
