Dew Berrymore is facing harsh criticism after allegedly failing to respect personal boundaries by apparently holding onto Oprah Winfrey’s hand for dear life in a “cringy” clip making its way around the internet.
Winfrey, 69, appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show” on Monday. Here is the link: https://nypost.com/2023/12/11/entertainment/drew-barrymore-caresses-oprah-and-fans-are-not-ok-past-my-boundary/ |

| She does it with literally everyone. But honestly, Oprah doesn't have a leg to stand on with people getting mad about the faux/forced intimacy of TV. The number of inappropriate, overly invasive questions Oprah asked people... |
| Drew is creepy at times. Watch how she genuflected before Dylan Mulvaney. It was definitely weird. |
| Drew is weird like that. She regularly holds the hand of guests. I get that it was more than hand holding but I could see that being Drew’s weird way of escalating the already strange behavior - while not realizing how odd it is. |
The body language here is pretty amazing. Also Oprah looks amazing. |

Good. It is creepy behavior and should be criticized.
By the way, this is a specific genre of touchy feely person where it is not enough for them to simply touch you against your will (which is by itself not okay). They need to force you to touch them. Grabbing someone else's hand and then applying it to different parts of your own body is SO WRONG. It just takes the violation to an even more invasive, upsetting place. If I wanted to touch your face or your chest with my hand, I would first get your consent and then do it. I am sorry you are in such need of affection that you feel the need to do this, but it's a controlling, violating behavior. Don't do this. |
Imagine her doing this to a child. Or imagine if she was a man or a less cutesy woman doing it. Would you still say oh yeah this is just their odd way of interacting with people, so silly. Stop giving her a pass just because she's a woman with a baby face who intentionally emphasizes her cute or childlike qualities in order to get away with behavior that is inappropriate and boundary-violating. |
| Drew is the worst. I cannot stand to listen to her lispy voice or look at her. It's like she tries so hard to remain childlike. |
Drew is definitely crossing a boundary here, but I think she has childlike behaviors due to her traumatic past. Her mom took her clubs to drink and do drugs when she was a tween. There's no way she wasn't preyed upon by much older men - young tween drunk and out of it on drugs with a negligent, addict mother. |
This!! Imagine DR Phil doing this and see if you feel the same 🤢 |
Ozempic is amazing. |
Yes! Love the purple and she looks amazing but she is a shero of mine no matter what her weight is. Drew Barrymore reminds me of those white ladies who are too emotional causing me to become avoidant of them and pull back and then they say something offensive and racist about me. |
She doesn’t choose to have a lisp… |
Drew needs to stop her "look I'm folksy and relatable" schtick. It is weird. +1 on Oprah. She had done her fair share of cringy and inappropriate behavior. |
