What are you going to do with your teen/tweens over winter break that they won't (completely) roll their eyes at? Took my 12 year old to Skyzone a few weeks ago and he towered over most of the other kids. Top Golf can only last so long.

I have girls ages 10 and 12.5 - they LOVE mani/pedis. Their overnight babysitter took them to Nail Saloon on Capitol Hill this fall and they beg to go back.

My girls also enjoy ice skating. The Caps practice facility in Ballston is inexpensive and indoors.

They also would be willing to hangout in Sephora/Ulta/Starbucks for hours.

We travel during Xmas break and will be away at a mountaintop ski resort out west. So looking forward to having them away from everything commercial and enjoying family time!

You can rent a fire pit at Sandy Spring Adventure Park. They can do a few ropes courses, come back and warm up, get hot chocolate from the food truck, then go back out again. And you can bring your own food, too.
