What career, job title, numbers of years of experience, education and salary

Spouse and I have always worked in the DC metro area since the time we both graduated. We have masters degrees and we both are engineers. We work hard with 100% commitment, have been getting decent promotions but nothing great, we have been working for 20 years, have changed jobs for better opportunities but probably never negotiated really well. Our HHI is 300K after all these years of working. I am always surprised when people here talk about their $1M+ HHIs. Leaving out the attorneys and doctors who make higher than the normal population, what professionals are the rest of them making really impressive salaries?
I should also say that both spouse and I work full time only with our respective primary employers and we don't have any side jobs, part time jobs or side gigs.
I am not sure where should we stand as far as HHI is concerned with each of us with 20 year work experience.
What career are you in, how long have you worked and what is your income/salary/hourly rate?

You are going to find most people here with that type of HHI are doctors, law firm partners, lobbyists, big bank/consulting partners, or own their own businesses.
