We had a large pack of Duracell batteries that began getting white chalky deposit around the terminals. I called Duracell and under their 10yr guarantee they sent us $40 in Duracell "manufacturer coupons".
Does anyone of a retailer in the DC metro area who takes these coupons? We tried Target, CVS, Walgreen's (all of which Duracell told us *should* take them). |
| Grocery stores? |

CVS has definitely taken manufacturers coupons from me before. I’ve even had very patient cashiers help me combine CVS coupons, manufacturers coupons and CVS bucks to make a purchase. Safeway and Giant definitely take them also.
Are you scanning them at self-check out terminals or are cashiers having trouble with the coupons? |
| OP here. Every retailer that I’ve visited scans the bar code, but the system gives an error message or cannot accept it. I’ve been to CVS, Target, Lowes. |

Any update on this. Were you able to use it.
I had same problem. |
No, never found a place and then the coupons ended up expiring 12/2023. I had called Duracell again and the customer service person talked to me like I was an idiot. "Did you try Target? No...Walmart? Home Depot? CVS?". #EnergizerGang from now on. |
| Kroger stores usually take them |
| They took it at Walmart. |
| Grocery stores will definitely take them. |
| Home Depot? |
