FCPS GPA Calculation?

I can’t find the answer to this on the FCPS website. . How are high school GPA and grades that are sent to college calculated?

So, if there’s a rolling grade book and you have a B at the end of 2nd quarter but bring it up to an A by the end of the year, what do colleges see? And is the B factored in a GPA calculation or just the final grade?

(I realize this will be different for senior year when kids are applying to colleges without final grades for courses.).

Only the final grade

FCPS calculates GPA using the final end of year grades. The only exception is for seniors; GPA is calculated after first semester for the mid year report sent to colleges then calculated again for the final transcript.
