How to get rid of Broadleaf Plantains?

Anonymous
It seems like this is the plant that's popping up all over my yard. The leaves are kind of cabbagy looking, and there's green corndog looking things growing vertically. Is there an easy way to get rid of them but protect your grass, or is the only solution to pull them all up?

I just keep pulling them up. They come out easily after a good rain.

Eat them! But seriously they are native plant. It attracts pollinators and birds love to eat their corndog seeds -- great description! And the leaves are good eating or make a wonderful skin salve. Stops mosquito itching instantly.

I pull them up where I don’t want them but mostly leave them. They’re native plants, edible for humans and beneficial for wildlife. Plus they usually prefer poor-quality soil where nothing else will grow. At the moment, plantain is colonizing my DC tree box that is 80 percent dumped old construction debris!

I pull them where I don't want them. Easy to weed by hand.

(fyi, they are an antidote to bee stings).

Crossbow herbicide will be very effective.
