domain has been mapped to Squarespace, but it has not yet been claimed by a website

I am an independent consultant and won't grow big, but I thought of a domain name which is perfect. I bought the .org version, but for the .com version, I am getting this message-

Domain Not Claimed
This domain has been mapped to Squarespace, but it has not yet been claimed by a website. If this is your domain, claim it in the Domains tab of your Website Manager.

I hope means that I might be able to easily buy the domain name -- and I spent $19.99 for a "broker" from namecheap to liaise and hopefully get the site (I am wondering may be a waste).

Any thoughts?

Did you do the whois? It sounds like a squatter is holding it through square space. Unless the name is very popular or your company is going to be huge, you should be able to buy it

Thank you. I think you are right -- Domains By Proxy, LLC

I hadn't heard of whois, and am now wondering if I was dumb to "big" on the site for $200 with namecheap and pay 20 for them to broker a "deal."

'It actually looks like it's with goDaddy, and was registered in 2019 and then again in 2022.

THere's a phone number in there- do you think I contact them? No email or other remote way of getting in contact which seems weird.

in the text, it says:

Registrant Email: Select
"Registrant Email: Select Contact Domain Holder link at https://www.godaddy.com/whois/results.aspx?domain=[[What I'd like]]"

but that link just brings me back to the same page I am seeing above on.

PS -- I feel like i am about 100 years old -- so thank you for your help!

I literally think we are talking about 100K/income a year and 1-2 employees. So not going to be huge. But I am now worried if I contact them all of a sudden several ways about this company they are going to think it's in high demand!
