After paying $525 for a diagnosis I was told my compressor was bad leaking all over the place and needed to be replaced at the tune of $2700. Dodge challenger. They filled it with Freon and ever since, my ac has been working awesome. If it was as bad as they say why is it blowing ice cold air even after a month?

Just keep getting it recharged with Freon. You might need to do it once per year. It's a cheap and quick fix vs. replacing the compressor.

Is it actually leaking? How old is the vehicle and what's it worth?

If the vehicle would sell for less than $10K, I wouldn't spend nearly $3K on a new compressor.
