True Crime books/audiobooks for 14yo reader?

Not looking for anything gory or sexual. DS hardly reads at all but would consider this genre. The YA true crime books I see on library and other book list sites aren't appealing to him. Thanks!

Notes on a Scandal - not overtly sexual but about an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and her male student.

Murder Among Friends: How Leopold and Loeb Tried to Commit the Perfect Murder by Candace Fleming

Blood, Bullets, and Bones: The Story of Forensic Science from Sherlock Holmes to DNA by Bridget Heos

Bonnie and Clyde: The Making of a Legend by Karen Blumenthal

Also the following podcasts: Generation Why, The Trail Went Cold, Park Predators, and Casefile.
