Tesla model Y price cut - what’s your thoughts ? Would you buy it now ?

With TESLA price cuts will you buy a Model Y if you are in market for a new car ?

No. I would never support Musk.

Tempting but I'll wait. EVs are like computers/laptops. The internals keep improving year over year but keep reducing in price. You pay for the chassis (Dell Inspiron vs Dell Latitude)/fit and finish as well as marketing. Throw in competition, increased production and Musk's stated desire to prioritize market share over profits, the only direction for price to go is down. I did read feedback on some Tesla forums about quality issues but not sure if it's real or people just piling on Tesla/Elon.

Personally, I don't care for Elon's politics but I'd buy Tesla if it's a good deal.. say a model Y for $40K. Hope the Repubtards don't f'up the tax credit.

No. If I wanted a Tesla, I would have gotten one before. There are other cars we prefer more.

I don’t have a lot of faith in Tesla quality of the overall car. The batteries and electric drivetrain are impressive, but the rest of the cars have poor quality issues.

Of all the Teslas, I think the Y looks the most awkward. It’s a 3, stretched a little taller.

We’re getting the new CR-V hybrid.

Yes, I would, but I already bought a new car in 2019 that will last me another 15 years. I drive 4000 a years, so no need for an expensive car. I do have a lot of their stock though.
The prices are coming down fast, and yes, we going electric. Time to start buying them, any electric.
There are idiots in every company. I'm not not buying Lululemon because the CEO (or ex CEO) is an idiot. Then I need to stop buying eggs too for the treatment of chickens.

I’ll never pay more than $40k for a car. Period.

Exactly. I don't factor in Musk. At the end of the day, he's a hard-headed businessman, not as crazy as the media likes to paint him.

It's still a "HECK no!" for me.
