Why not have free public school be online, and charge tuition for in-person school?

Do you think that the majority of kids thrived in the pandemic so much so that it should be the norm??? Do you have kids? Have you ever met a kid?

Do you know anyone whose parents can't stay home, can't speak English, can't read, can't afford to pay extra for public school?! This post hurts my head.
