For MoCo residents: pruning trees in county land strip

Anonymous
Has anyone in MoCo managed to get a tree company to trim a county tree (that sits in the edge of land that technically belongs to the county)? I am talking about unincorporated MoCo. I have two county-owned trees in front of my house that would benefit from trimming. Do I have any hope of finding a company to do it? My understanding has always been that no one may touch a single leaf on these trees, but maybe I am wrong?

Call 311 and the county will trim it
