The storyline appeals to me, but it took me a month to get through chapter 1. 😆😆
I don’t know why I can’t get hooked. Anyone read it? For the record, I love Stephen King! 11/22/63 is my recent favorite of his. What gives? |
| Yes, but not recently. I feel like I was in my teens when I read that one. Along with the Long Walk. I enjoyed that one better if memory serves. |
| I read that when I was about 12. (DH). I fell asleep reading it, had some weird dreams, then a few hours later sleepwalked into my parents' room, woke them up, and explained to them all about this predicament that this woman was in and how we needed to help her. |

Ehh...not one of my favorite Steven King books. I've probably read 40 or so of his and it's in my bottom 5, I'd say.
He's got many, many books better than that one. |

Thanks, all. This is what I needed to read in order to give up on it.
Darn, the story sounds interesting. Oh well. [OP] |
| It’s mediocre. Read his short story collections, particularly the first two. |
