I just saw this and am shocked and disgusted. He had diapers in his home, child porn found on his computer and a child size doll IN HIS BED. No kids, no nieces or nephews. He was arrested for previously spray painting “groomer” on two libraries during pride week. That’s why his home was searched. I feel so sorry for any children who was under his care.

The only thing I can say is I hope that he was never left alone with students. He seems mentally ill and also committed acts that got him caught. I hope PG did their due diligence with hiring him.

I know people don't like to hear this but there are a LOT of people with these inclinations, they just never get caught. I hope all schools are able to implement best practices based on the research (conducted with child abusers about their strategies and most likely access points) but that would be expensive and it would make lots of adults uncomfortable. Mostly because all children would need to know their proper names for their genitalia- example the difference between vagina and vulva. While knowing the terminology doesn't stop abuse, it does assist in prosecution which is an area that our system is sufficiently struggling with. There should never be one adult left with a child- more supervision of both adults and children.
