Need a new carryon spinner suitcase

Anonymous
My carryon has broken so I’m in need of a new one. We have some Briggs & Riley bags and some Tumi but I’d be fine spending less (under $200) for a decent bag for me. Any recommendations for something light but still sturdy which works for domestic and international carryon size? Ideally in a color other than black?

TJmaxx … any hard shell Samsonite.

Been really happy with Away. Really lightweight.

Quality of Samsonite has fallen off a cliff .

Love my new Travelpro Walkabout 21" (it's the style made for Macys, but the same as the MaxLite). I paid $144 with Macy's sales, (you can get similat price on Travelpro.com or Amazon for the Maxlite).

I just used it to pack for a week in Costa Rica. Was perfect. I will buy more of the same when others in my household need a new suitcase.

I found this too. I still mostly just pick one up at Marshalls or TJ but avoid Samsonite. Perhaps they send all the bad ones there? We have good luck with Swiss Army.

I just did a ton of research for some work travel and bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0A3BKH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

It's been great - I managed to pack for a full week of meetings in Europe.

I do like the feature on the Away and a few others that lets you stash your laptop easily: https://www.awaytravel.com/suitcases/carry-on-pocket?color=black_nylon_pocket&usb_charger=not_included

When? Our TJ Maxx Samsonites are going strong for at least 12-13 years now. And they were dirt cheap.

I have an AWAY and love it. Def a bit smaller than the former carryon I has but has to been an issue as I am a very light packer.
