boys swimsuit with no liners

this is weird right?

ordered cute matching target swimsuits for my 3 boys (1/4/5yos) but they are just shorts with no liner. i know our other swimsuits have liners (other than the baby's full body ones)...its weird to not have one right?

Yes weird. Practice “jammers” for swim team kids have no liners but those are like bike shorts - tight everywhere. If it’s loose fitting trunks, they usually have liners.

They sound like board shorts. Wear jammers under them.

ok - they're going back to target. i looked back at the listing and they're described as "adaptive" swim trunks. I guess maybe the liner bothers some people so they specifically make it without

liners are pretty irritating unless they are smooth btw. i get my son the lands end that have basically semi-tight bike-shorts as the liner.

+1 to the Jammers. My 7 y/o twins wear them by themselves the majority of the time these days, including (recently) to the beach.

It's not weird, they are board shorts. Some children get irritated from the liners.

Are they still wearing swim diapers?
