Disney without a stroller?

My kids will be 6 and 3.5 when we go to Disneyworld again. We went when they were 4 and 1.5. There is so much walking that the stroller really came in handy. My 4 year old (just turned 4) even rode in it a few times even though she hadn't ridden in a stroller in about 1.5-2 yrs. Toward the end of the day we always seemed to be carrying one kid and pushing the other.

I'm trying to figure out whether to bring it along again. My 3 yr old hasn't ridden in it for at least a year but I'm wondering whether he will get tired at Disney. I heard the rentals are very expensive so I'm not sure I want to go that route.

bring it!! We went this year (ages 2 and 4) and we debated the single or double, and were SO glad we brought the double. My four year old got tired, and even though it has been a while since he rode in a stroller, he rode in it quite a bit. Also, even if they are both walking, you can put all your junk in it.

Definitely bring it. You could even bring a cheap umbrella stroller and ditch it while you are down there if you don't need it. I am sure you will be using it though. So much walking....

Bring it! My active three year old wanted to be carried after walking for a couple of hours.

Our kids were the same ages when we went, and we rented the double stroller there. Not sure what it cost (grandparents picked it up!) but it came in handy. Since it was a Disney one, we had no worries about it getting lost or stolen. And since the kids hadn't been in strollers for so long, we called it something else, like a "cart," so they wouldn't think it was babyish and resist it--and truly it did cart around our stuff when one of the kids wasn't in it.

Yeah, bring it. We brought one for our just turned 5 year old and didn't regret it - there can be a LOT of walking just getting into the parks, and it was especially helpful at the end of the day. (FYI, she mostly walked within the parks, but liked being able to sit for a rest when necessary)

I'd get a cheapo stroller for the younger one. We went this past year with my 4 yr old Energizer Bunny and he didn't need it. But even he made remarks about the other "big kids" riding in strollers. He thought it was strange and so did I but I would've gotten one if he had been 3 years old.

We went to Disney with my daughter when she was almost 4 and hadn't been riding in a stroller for a while. We did not bring it the day we went to Magic Kingdom and we managed, but she was really tired by the end of the day. We rented one the next day at Animal Kingdom and it was so much better - she loved riding in it actually.

We went in May, and I really thought my 4.5 yo wouldn't need one - but I was wrong. Even my 6 yo neice could've used one, IMO, as she often ended up on her dad's shoulders. We ended up finding a local Walmart and buying a cheap umbrella stroller 2 days into the trip.

I don't recommending renting a stroller at Disney because I found my DS often needed the stroller most when we were leaving the parks to walk out to the parking lot, buses or boats.
