I’m using an iPad with Firefox as the browser. I noticed that my many tabs have disappeared. After a Google search, I’m guessing that I’m in FULL Screen mode. None of the instructions that I’ve found seem to apply to my iPad. They suggest using function keys or dropdown instructions that aren’t applicable. So far, doing a soft reset hasn’t fixed the problem.
If anyone has any suggestions, I’d very much appreciate your help! |

I’m pretty good with iPads, although I use Safari not Firefox. That said, there have been times when I’ve lost all my Safari open tabs because I “swiped up” to close open applications. Any chance you did that?
If not, there’s a possibility your tabs are still there but are in another (or different) open Firefox instance. To find that you need to sort thru your open applications. To do that you need to know how to see them and this is different on the various versions of iPads. If you have a home button try a quick double press to open the apps you have running in the background. If you don’t have a home button swipe up from the bottom about 1/3 the way up the screen and then release. You will see multiple windows of each app that is open. Look for a 2nd instance of Firefox and you may get lucky on the tabs still being there. Good luck! |
Arrrgh! Yes, I did swipe up — as I’ve done many times before without losing any tabs. Oh well. Fingers crossed that I’ll get lucky— although it seems unlikely. Thank you so much for your help! |
| Update: I think my tabs are gone for good, BUT I was able to get a list of at least some of my tabs from my history. So, that’s something. |
