My most recent is The Tattooist. Right before that was What My Bones Know: A Memoir on Healing from Complex Trauma by Stephanie Foo (which was an amazing read and I absolutely recommend. I could relate so much).
There's just something about reading the books that compel you to read them all at once! |
| I also could not put down What My Bones Know. I couldn’t put down Complicit. |
| I have rarely done this one sitting thing. Maybe Stephen King's The Stand (a whole week sitting) and The Lovely Bones back in the 90s. |
| Never, for me. I need to sleep haha |

Hidden Pictures - thriller about a unique little boy
I'm Happy My Mom Died Both books are what I call "easy readers". Short chapters, good story line, simple subject matter. |
I'm not that sure that really counts. A week isn't one sitting. My favorite Stephen King book, though. Liked the shorter version better. |
The book is over 1000 pages. It counts. |
Again? Oh my god, who is this nit picky person critiquing the meaning the topic? Just let us post. Or better yet, answer the question. |
| The closest I've gotten in recent memory is Daisy Jones and the Six in one weekend flat, summer before last. |
| I think I read Moo Baa La La La like 7 times on Saturday. Does that count? |
No bc you were probably held hostage by a one year old. |
| Anything by KJ Charles. Ducks by Kate Beaton. Prairie Lotus by Linda Sue Park (this one is a YA and it was very much one sitting — I didn’t even stop to pee 😆). |
I did this once - when I read Othello the first time. It was like an action thriller on paper. So good. |
| No One Is Talking About This by Patricia Lockwood. It was a very interesting dystopian story written in a style mimicking the distractions of social media. |
| Not quite one sitting, but I found Pretty Things by Janelle Brown pretty page-turnery. It's about running a grift on an influencer, but teases out some complicated social dynamics. |
