Federal insurance 2023 covers IVF or IUI?

Anonymous
Does anyone have information on which if any insurance plans are covering IBF or IUI in 2023? I keep seeing articles but they are all focused on those who are gender-transitioning or going through cancer treatments.

The ones in the dc area do not cover Ivf unless you are gender transitioning or have cancer. Some may cover iui

If you are eligible for the foreign service benefit plan (either in the foreign service or working in a civil service job that relates to international affairs), it covers $5k for IVF as of 2023. Not a whole lot but better than nothing I guess. I just switched to it after finding out I was eligible as DOS employee.

CareFirst typically covers 6 rounds of IUI "per live birth" (but no IVF)

Kaiser covers 50% of IUI costs after a lot of annoying tests and per-approval (might be the same for other insurances) but no IVF.

True though I think they also limit it to 3 IUIs.
