So, I watched this film a few years ago to make sense of my former Assistant Secretary’s obsession with the National Prayer Breakfast, and after a colleague informed me that my Assistant Secretary was interviewed in it. The Post and other news outlets later featured a story about my Assistant Secretary’s activities on January 6 (so in my case study of one, there’s some connection): https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/05/17/senior-trump-official-state-met-with-election-denial-activists-jan-6/ But how the deep the connection goes between the National Prayer Breakfast types and the coup plotters is likely variable and speculative. |
