What's the deal with the CT ave bike lane thread

How many different posters are actually writing on there? As one, I'd like to know if we are discussing something equally supported/opposed, or if one side is just disproportionately sock puppeting

The thread is 156 pages so I am not going to be able to do a precise analysis. What I can do a few database queries which may or may not be useful.

The thread has posts from 351 different IP addresses.

There are 420 posts from one address. That poster might be high.

There are 257 posts from another address.

There are 252 posts from a third address.

No other address has more than 70 posts.

All of these numbers are suspect because posters often post from multiple IP addresses and multiple posters can post from the same address.

The most active poster I can identify is pro-bike lanes, the second and third most active posters are anti-bike lanes.

My best guess, looking at the various factors I can correlate, is that there are at least 40 posters who have posted at least 4 times in that thread but the thread is mostly dominated by about 10 posters.
