I am so tired of my DD tugging at her panties. At 48" and 48 lbs, she is just about out of "little girl" clothes (varies between 6, 6x and 7). The panties from Target (Fruit of the Loom and Hanes) just don't seem to be working for her anymore. I don't think it is the size so much as the cut.
Since we are past the days of potty training and accidents, I don't mind spending a little more on underwear now. So what are the ones your DD has found to be the most comfortable at this size? I'd prefer online retailers, as I don't make it to brick & mortar stores very frequently. I did do a search of the archives, but nothing came up for kids. many thanks in advance. |
hanna anderson. worth every penny.
My daughter likes Gymboree undies.
Another vote for Hanna Andersson.
Another vote for Gymboree.
We used Hannas, then got some from Target which dd liked for a time, but around age 7 she stopped liking the ones from Target and is back to preferring the Hannas.
Hanna without question. Much softer than anything else we've found (including Gymboree).
Honestly, I think Children's Place makes GREAT panties for girls. I buy only white underwear so I don't have to fight with my daughter not to wear blue panties underneath a white or light pink dress (or have tears when her fave pair are in the wash) and their white underwear are terrific and half the price of Hanna underwear.
Gymboree & Hanna Andersson, hands-down.
OP here. Thanks for all the input! We'll start with some Hannas and see how it goes. I wore Carter's until I was in Juniors, but they no longer make anything over size 6x and aren't even available online. How the world changes!
My daughter likes GAP undies and she is very picky.
DD likes Hannas, because they have the soft waistband.
