Moving away from Comcast and Verizon for TV--Help Needed

I am moving and will use verizon fios for my wifi (my only option unfortunately). I want to buy a smart TV that I can use for TV shows and movies.
Can some explain how Roku works? Would you use the verizon fios to stream things like YoutubeTV; Hulu, etc? What if I want to watch something like Survivor or HGTV? I have not done this before and appreciate your assistance. |
