Facebook acount hacked; enter the Ninth Circle?

Anonymous
I was logged out of Facebook on all my devices.

When I tried to log in, it said it didn't recognize my password.

When I asked to reset my password, the e-mail they send the pass code to is not my email address.

Also, my e-mail address is my login name. When I log in, it comes up with my profile picture, but a message that reads "We couldn't find an account that matches what you entered, but found one that closely matches."

I'm hosed, right?

Later, I noticed there's an e-mail chain in my gmail account indicating someone added an new e-mail to my account, got rid of the old one (mine) and changed the password, all while I slept. They even sent a password reset code to my gmail account and the hacker apparently got it. Does this mean my email account was hacked, too?

When I try to get it restored, I feel like Facebook sends me around in circles by wanting to send a confirmation code to the hackers e-mail address.
