My kids harass me because I love using GIF in my messages to them and to my friends. I feel like the right movie GIF can just capture the moment.
Now I grew up making movie references long before messages, so this seems natural to me, but is it time to move on? Say it aint so... |

| I love gifs. My kids sometimes do sometimes don't. Some of my friends use them a lot and some not at all--so I know when to use them and when to leave it be. |

I don’t send GIFs myself, but I don’t mind receiving them. They are especially good if the whole audience/recipient list is going to get the joke.
I also agree with the use of the term cringe. Just don’t. |
